Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of the Vimub platform (“Service”). By using the Service you agree to this AUP. If you violate the AUP, we may suspend or terminate your account and (where applicable) report you to law enforcement.

1. Don’t break the law

You must comply with all applicable laws — including anti-spam laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, UK PECR, Australian SPAM Act), consumer protection laws (including FTC guidelines on review solicitation), and any industry-specific regulation that binds your business.

2. Don’t fake reviews

The Service exists to help honest operators capture honest feedback. You must not:

  • Post or solicit fake, paid, or incentivised reviews on any platform.
  • Use the Service to post reviews of your own business under fictional identities.
  • Use the Service to post reviews of competitors in a deceptive or malicious manner.
  • Circumvent Google, Yelp, Facebook, or Trustpilot review policies.

Violation of this section will result in immediate termination without refund.

3. Don’t abuse messaging

SMS and email features must be used only to contact customers who have an existing relationship with your business (past, current, or booked). You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining valid consent where legally required.
  • Honouring all STOP / UNSUBSCRIBE requests promptly and permanently.
  • Using only the sender names, phone numbers, and domains you have the right to use.
  • Not sending content that is spam, misleading, or prohibited by Twilio/SendGrid terms.

4. Don’t misuse AI

  • Don’t attempt to jailbreak or manipulate the AI to generate harassment, discrimination, or defamatory content about third parties.
  • Don’t use the Service to impersonate a real individual or business other than your own.
  • Don’t use AI-generated content to deceive review platforms into believing a human authored it.

5. Don’t attack the platform

  • No scraping, crawling, or automated extraction beyond the public API limits.
  • No reverse-engineering, bypassing rate limits, or attempting to access other tenants’ data.
  • No uploading or transmitting malware, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt or damage our systems or those of our providers.
  • No penetration testing without express written permission (see our Security page for the disclosure process).

6. Don’t resell without authorisation

Only customers on the Agency tier may resell, white-label, or sub-license the Service. All other tiers are for end-user use only.

7. Enforcement

We enforce this AUP with a graduated response: warning, suspension, termination. Severe violations (fraud, harassment, platform attacks) are grounds for immediate termination without warning or refund. We reserve the right to cooperate with law-enforcement investigations.

8. Reporting violations

Report suspected AUP violations to support@vimub.com. We acknowledge within one business day and investigate within five.
